What is One Time Registration in TNPSC?

TNPSC One Time Registration (OTR) is mandatory for all the candidates to apply for the recruitment examinations conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission. TNPSC One Time Registration is just a system to register the details of Applicants in advance before applying for any recruitment. It is not an application for any recruitment.

Step by Step Guide: TNPSC One time Registration

Visit the TNPSC Official Website tnpsc.gov.in (Or) tnpscexams.in & Click TNPSC One Time Registration button.

The OTR form will be visible on the screen. Now, fill all the mandatory details like your personal details, qualification details, address, etc, in the provided fields.

Upload your Passport size photograph and signature in the required format.

Pay the prescribed registration fee through online using any debit/credit cards.

After filling up the details click on the submit button.

After the registration process has been completed, the applicants will get a confirmation SMS on your registered mobile number with your User Id and Password.

After the TNPSC OTR Registration process is completed, candidates can any of the filed by clicking on the edit option.

Log in with the “TNPSC One-time Registration User Login ID” and click on Edit button.

Now, enter the details such as TNPSC reference ID, Date of birth and captcha code.

Click on submit, after entering the details.

Now, you will be redirected to your registration form where you can change your details.

Now, enter all the details correctly, also the aspirants can upload their photo, signature, etc.

Once recheck all the information and click on submit to save the particulars.

The online TNPSC Group 1 application 2021 will available from January 20, 2021 to February 19, 2021. The last date to make payment for application is February 21, 2021. Check and follow these steps to apply online for TNPSC Group-1 2021 exam.

TNPSC One Time Registration for Group-I exam

If you already have TNPSC one time registration (OTR) details such as login ID and password then skip this step 1 and proceed to next steps.

If you are a new user and looking for one time registration process then follow these steps:

  • Go to www.tnpsc.gov.in (or) tnpscexams.in and select new user.
  • Create login ID by providing valid email ID and entering your choice of password.
  • Enter your personal details such as mobile number. Then verify the same after clicking on verify tab.
  • Upload your properly scanned photograph and signature in relevant formats.
  • Make payment for one time registration using any valid debit card/credit card.
  • The registration fee for TNPSC one time registration (OTR) is ₹150 only. Moreover, it’s valid for 5 years. This is great add on for TNPSC aspirants to save money instead of paying each time. Once registration over, you will get login ID and password.
  • Simply use these details to login, fill in an online application for any TNPSC exam or even to download admit card and check results.

Fill TNPSC Group I Services Application Form 2021

Once TNPSC one time registration process over, now the candidates can use their registration ID and password to login and fill TNPSC group 1 online application form by selecting the post name. Refer following steps to fill TNPSC group 1 application form :

  • Go to https://apply.tnpscexams.in/otr and select registered user.
  • Sign in by entering login ID and password.
  • Then, candidate dashboard will appear on screen.
  • Now, click on ‘Current Application’ then ‘Apply Now’ button.
  • Select TNPSC Group 1 Services post.
  • Enter and verify your educational qualifications, address to communicate and exam center details.
  • Check and confirm declaration by clicking on “I agree to finally submit my online application”.
  • Finally, move to next step that proceed to payment section.

Pay TNPSC Group-1 Application fee

Now, candidates should make payment for TNPSC group-1 application through online payment gateways for that use debit card or credit card. TNPSC Group-1 application fee is ₹100 for general category candidates. on other hand, there is no exam fee for SC/ST/Widows/PWD/Ex-Servicemen.

Selected candidates in prelims exam will be called to take mains exam. Here these candidates once again need to pay application fee for mains exam.

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has decided to give fee exemption. Reserved category candidates (refer following table) qualify for exemption from application fee.

TNPSC Group-II application form is expected to be released very soon. Candidates who wish to apply online for TNPSC Group II can fill the application form on the official website of the commission. However, before starting with the application process, candidates are advised to ensure that they meet the TNPSC Group-II exam eligibility criteria for the post for which they wish to apply.

TNPSC Group II – How to Apply Online?

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to apply online for TNPSC Group-II exam:

Register for TNPSC Group-II Exam

Firstly, candidates need to register themselves on the official website of TNPSC (tnpsc.gov.in/ tnpscexams.net/ tnpscexams.in). It may be noted that this is One Time Registration (OTR) valid for a period of five years. Candidates who already have their one-time registration ID can skip this step.

For one time registration on the official website, candidates need to fill all the requisite details in the online form. Thereafter, candidates also need to upload scanned images of their photograph, signature, and educational certificates (wherever asked). Once all details are filled and documents are uploaded, candidates need to pay the one-time registration fee in online mode.

Fill TNPSC Group-II Application Form

Once registered, candidates can login to their registered accounts using their one-time registration ID and password. Thereafter, candidates can fill the TNPSC Group-2 application form for the post/ service for which they wish to apply. Some of the particulars that candidates need to enter in the application form are:

TNPSC Group-II Application Fee Submission

Next, candidates need to pay TNPSC Group-2 application fee:

TNPSC Group-II application fee for preliminary paper can be paid in online (credit card/ debit card/ net banking) or offline (at State Bank of India/ Indian Bank/ post office) mode. The application fee for mains paper needs to be paid in online mode by only those candidates who get shortlisted for the mains examination.

Note: Candidates belonging to the below-mentioned categories are exempted from paying the application fee:

Submit the TNPSC Group-II Application Form

Lastly, candidates can submit the TNPSC Group-II application form by clicking on the Submit button. Once successfully submitted, candidates can print or save their application in PDF format.

TNPSC Group-II Registration: Things to Keep in Mind
  • One time registration is valid for five years from the date of registration
  • No candidate is allowed to create more than one registration ID in one-time registration
  • One time registration is not an application for any post. Candidates need to apply for the exam separately
  • No modifications in the TNPSC application form are allowed once the last date for registration is over. Certain fields in the application form are fixed and cannot be edited. Therefore, candidates must fill the online application form with utmost caution.
  • Candidates do not need to send the printout of online application or any other document to TNPSC. The documents and applications of candidates are verified in the subsequent stages of selection.
  • Offline mode of application fee payment through demand draft/ postal order is rejected
How to register for TNPSC Group IV exam?

  • Visit the official website – www.tnpsc.gov.in
  • Go to the Online-Services tab given on the right side
  • Click on the one-time registration button
  • It will ask to continue for the external website
  • Click on the One Time Registration & Dashboard button
  • Click on the new user tab given on the newly appeared screen
  • A new screen will appear asking to create a Login id(Minimum length 5, Maximum length 15) in alphanumeric only. It will not accept special characters
  • A new form will ask about the password and confirm password, email_id and confirm email Id
  • More details like following need to be filled

  • Press the “Submit and Continue” button
  • Community details are required
  • The candidate needs to fill all the details of the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) details.
  • Address of Communication
  • Permanent Address
  • Upload Photo and Signature
  • Photo size – not more than 50 Kb
  • Scanned signature – not more than 20 Kb
  • A TNPSC format of personal information containing the candidates all the information will be displayed on the screen.
  • The candidate needs to check all the details and edit in case there is any discrepancy.
  • If all the details are correct, check the acceptance checkbox of the given declaration.
  • Then press submit and continue.
TNPSC Group IV Registration Payment

The candidates need to pay for the one-time registration in the TNPSC. The One-time registration fee is 150. The registration will be valid for the next five years and the candidate can use this register number for any exam of TNPSC.

After paying the registration fee,

The candidate will receive a register number which can be used for any exam of TNPSC.

TNPSC Group IV registration is necessary to fill the TNPSC Group IV application after the notification is issued.
